Skill Analysis: Breakdown of a Skating Element
Lauren Downes MSPT, owner of Sk8Strong, has created a series of written (not video) skill analyses for figure skaters to help them improve their skating skills. What is a skill analysis? Lauren will breakdown a skating move from the beginning to end of the move (either a jump, spin, or move in the field pattern), and analyze how strength and flexibility deficits can affect the performance quality of that element.
